News

Together with Ernst-Barlach-Realschule, the Steuler Group (both Höhr-Grenzhausen) was awarded the SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT Award 2024 Rhineland-Palatinate. In the category “Cooperation between schools and companies”, the collaboration between the two partners was honored with the federal state prize as an outstanding example of vocational orientation and economic education.

The award was presented as part of the “Making commitment visible!” competition, which recognizes schools and companies that enable young people to enter the world of work in a practical way and create a valuable bridge between school education and the world of work.

Promoting young talent and supporting young people in their professional orientation are key elements of Steuler's corporate culture. In close cooperation with the Ernst-Barlach-Realschule, the company has developed various formats to offer pupils practical insights and concrete career options. Whether company tours, internships or workshops - the common goal is to provide young people with valuable experience and authentic insights into everyday working life.

The successful partnership with Ernst-Barlach-Realschule is now being expanded to include a new project: job application training for pupils. With this offer, the Group aims to prepare young people even more specifically for their entry into working life and provide them with important tools for the application process. This collaboration opens up new perspectives for young people and strengthens their ability to find their bearings in the world of work at an early stage.
